Hi, my name is Alexander Davis-Grimes, but most call me Alex. I am UX/UI Designer, aspiring Design Technologist, living and working in Phoenix, Arizona. I’ve always taken a creative approach to problem-solving, so one day I figured why not do the same for my career?

My journey transitioning into design has not been an easy feat, but every second has been more invigorating than the next, and I wouldn't trade this experience for the world! Over the last year, I have committed myself to learning the ins and outs of User Experience and Interface design through an immersions bootcamp offered by CareerFoundry.

The intensive training program for designers specializes in the UX process and methodology that includes user research, user journeys, user personas, testing, information architecture, and visual design fundamentals. Having obtained my UX/UI certification, I made the decision to stay on the "innovation train" and cultivate a broader understanding of Frontend web development.

As a designer, I want to always stay ahead of the curve and challenge myself to learn something new every single day to continuously improve experiences.

My ultimate goal is to always create smart, memorable, and intuitive designs with just a splash of EXTRANESS!
